LET’S TALK ABOUT OUR NEW NAME & WHAT HAPPENED NOTEL.

Let’s rewind, and go back to 2019. Remember that distant land before lockdowns even existed and an obsession with TikTok was simply unheard of?

A court battle with a hotel giant began over our names being too similar. We won’t give them the honor of name-dropping in our blog but let’s just say it rhymes with SOVOTEL…

I mean, pick on someone your own size, right?

Unfortunately, we lost our case and the renaming journey began. This was never going to be an easy one, we loved NOTEL and were so proud of what we had created under this brand but the universe decided that a rebrand wasn’t tough enough, let’s shake things up a little more…

ENTER COVID-19

Holy sh*t is really all we can say about this one, I am sure the majority of small bizz owners in Melbourne will agree. How on earth can we creatively rebrand when we don’t even know if our doors will ever open again? & at a time when people are truly struggling, a pink rooftop wasn’t making any priority list.

BUT, we won’t dwell, and thanks to a truly epic team and followers, here we are announcing HOTEL NO.

So why ‘HOTEL NO’?

Keeping the ‘NO’ was a non-negotiable for us

NO ordinary stay
NO concierge
NO pointless trouser presses (who uses these?!?)
NO tourist traps

You get the vibe.
